Ummm it snowed !

To say the least it snowed in NY. Our house got over 2 feet of snow. Power went out on Thursday at our house and didn't come back on until today sunday. I haven't had internet so I've been seperated from the world. Luckily we have a generator so we didn't have it that bad. The snow had a blue tint to it in the cracks which i've learned means its glacier snow or wet snow. It is a very heavy snow. All the trees branches are weighed down to the ground. A ton of trees broke, we had to clear them out of the driveway so we could have it plowed. I am definately out of shape. Walking in 2 feet of snow is hard enough. but carrying trees as well wears me out quickly. We had some good family time. becky keith and the kids came and were stuck in the snow with us. It was fun, but I'm glad its over and i'm ready for the snow to be gone. The snow is plowed so high that you can't see around corners when you're driving. Anyways.... enjoy the picks!

oops!!!

So my friend from church asked me to babysit her kids today, since I don't have a job right now. I said sure, why not. They have a new house dog that's not potty trained, kept peeing all over even though i let her out every hour!! anyways two of the kids are at school and 2 are home with me. The baby is getting cranky but i got to keep her awake until I pick eden up from the bus. So I get the kids in jackets and head to the end of the road. we wait ten minutes for the bus, its king of cold out. So I hurry the kids back to the door only to find out that it's locked!! Yep the babysitter got locked out of the house with 3 kids under 5 yrs old. I called the mom and she didn't answer and i don't have the dad's number. But my dad does, so I got hold of dad who then called their dad and he came home from work to let us in : ) They have a really old door and there is a tiny button that gets hit when the kids pull the door shut....I didn't know. Luckily he only works like 10 mins away. the kids got some fresh air and exercise on their scooters. No harm done!!

i'll miss my couch!!

IM MOVING BACK TO NEW YORK!!!!!! but the sad news is moving trucks are way too expensive!!! so i have to sell my beds and couch and my poor honda is gonna have to pull a little trailer across the country again. I love this couch!! it was soooo comfortable. but oh well. the great news is i don't have to drive across the country alone this time!! kendra made her decision right away to come with, mainly to see deisel, but i think she'll be happy to see mom and dad too. Adam was his typical self and said yes and was excited at first, then said no, and finally decided to come again. yay so adam and maranda are coming too!! because we have 4 drivers we'll prob just go straight through. i think it will be a blast. i'm excited to live with mom and dad again.

dad got an original nertz shirt, head band, and sweat bands for fathers day. i thought it was pretty cool. It doesn't give him magical powers because i still win all the time.

hey look!

yay, i did something on my blog again. i changed it up a little bit, but i don't like it so i'll probably change it again. haha well, we got a kitty her name is "the Dutchess" you know like fergie (thanks jess) this cat is hilarious. i swear she is part cat,dog, and even has a little bear and kangaroo in her. I'm gonna try to upload some videos of her, she really is something else. Greg took me to a golf tournament. It was fun, it was a scramble tournament which basically means whoever hits it best we all go put are balls there and hit from there. i like that kind of tournament :) i enjoy golfing but i've only been like 5 times total. I would love to go more. I didn't bring my camera so i didnt take any pics so this is just a random one of us.

So i went out on Lake Ontario with greg and his family. They have a couple boats out there and greg invited me. the weather was pretty crappy but i still had a great time. Greg took me out on the little speed boat before the storms started. We fished with some friends from the dock and his little brother and parents right there on the dock. I did pretty awesome for my fist time!his little brother was pretty mad, now we're gonna compete in the future. haha he's just as competitve as i am. I wouldn't touch the fish though, so every time i caught a fish, i yelled for greg haha, he came and took care of it. we ate some good food, and had some fun conversations with the friends on the dock. When the storm came we hung out in the boat, mainly naps and dvd's, my fave!

This was the first fish i caught, pretty good size fish!! I guess it's called a northern pike

Woody (greg's dad) saw a turtle and said he would catch it and he did, that was pretty cool. greg picked it up by the tail, the snapping turtle was pretty ticked off about that, we put it back in.
